North Bay CACC Coverage Area Map

North Bay CACC conducts EMS call taking and dispatching for Nipissing District, Temiskaming District and a portion of Parry Sound District.  EMS bases are located throughout the areas:

  • Parry Sound Districts
    • Powassan

    • Burks Falls (dispatched by Parry Sound, but frequently used by us)

CACC Boundaries:

South              Sundridge/Strong Township

North                Kirkland Lake (Butler Lake – Bourques Road/Highway 11)

East                 Bissett Creek, Highway 17

West                 West Nipissing, Highway 17 and Deer Lake Road

South/West       Highway 522/Grundy Lake

The CACC receives and dispatches calls using the following resources daily:

  • 19 Ambulances, ACP and PCP
  • 5 PRU/Commanders/Deputy Chiefs
  • 6 First Response Teams
  • 21 Volunteer Fire departments (out of 39 stations)
  • Upstaffs/special event vehicles (OHL Hockey Games, other events)

Fire/Tiered Response

  • There are a total of 57 fire departments in our catchment areas
  • 21 of the fire departments have tiered response agreements with EMS that are managed and notified through the CACC.
  • 21 fire departments are dispatched directly by CACC
